2013 Convention Logo Design Contest

The Association of Private Sector Colleges and Universities, APSCU is thrilled to announce an exciting contest for your students.

We are inviting your students to participate in the logo design contest for the upcoming APSCU Convention & Exposition. It is a great opportunity for your students to show off their artistic talent, receive the recognition they deserve and be extra creative!

The winning artwork will symbolize the Convention and will be recognized as the official logo and will be used throughout the promotional campaign in printed pieces, onsite signage, official Convention website, and social media outlets. The grand prize of $500 will be awarded for the winning entry and $250 for second place.

The theme of this year's convention is "Opportunity for All". This year's event will take place June 5-7, 2013 at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel in Orlando, Florida.

Logo contest rules:

• Must be original art created by a student enrolled in an APSCU member college. Limit three submissions per campus. (We ask the college to put forth only the three best entries from their students' work.)
• The convention details (date, location, theme, etc.) do not have to be incorporated into the artwork.
• Submissions must be able to be reproduced. Any text that may be included as part of the logo should be legible at a minimum of 125 pixels wide.
• The convention committee will judge the submissions and make the final selections.
• Artwork should be emailed in a JPEG format and should be saved with the author's name and school (i.e. John Smith-ABC College). The winning logo will also need to be supplied to APSCU in a high resolution format (.eps).
• The creator of the winning artwork will be required to sign a release form to have the work published as the official convention logo.
